Another Burnt Brick Oven Summer

It was going to be a big summer for Forza Pizza; the blog has officially launched, I was getting comfortable with a dough recipe, and topping combinations just seemed to find me.  However, just like two summers ago, my job has taken me out of state for a little while.  I wish they could've relocated me for the winter, but no, they relocate me days before the pizza season opens.  It was a big blow, but opportunity knocked so I had to answer.  Whatever it takes to put food on the table right?

I hate goodbyes!

Those of you who know me understand how deflating this is, but I promise I'll get over it.  Work can't stop me from loving pizza it can only stop me from cooking in my backyard.  Therefore, this blog will have to temporarily go another direction.  Instead of documenting my adventures with my oven, I'll take a more general approach and provide some "reviews", tips, tricks, quotes, etc... on pizza.  I got a ton of things in mind and more time on my hands so make sure you keep up.

I plan on being home in the fall so we'll see how many fire-ups we can squeeze in before the snow.  On the bright side, since the fire-ups will be so sporadic and scarce, they'll be bigger and better than ever!  We're just gonna have to go all out!

Forza Pizza,
Alberto

PS - If and when I ever get paid to make my own pizza we won't have to worry about this anymore.
