Pizza Love

Since it's Valentine's Day I gave soon-to-be Mrs. Forza Pizza the night off.  I promised where ever we eat will have a pizza-less menu.  I can handle one day a year...I think.  HOWEVER, little does she know that I'll be celebrating two Valentine's Days this year.  I can't celebrate the Day of Love without the food I love.  Which is why I stopped by Nonna Silvia's for a heart shaped pizza.

The Heart Shaped Margherita from Nonna Silvia's

If, unlike me, you get to eat pizza this Valentine's Day then have some fun with it.  Nothing says I love you quite like a heart shaped pizza.  Romantic, thoughtful, and awkward to cut.

Don't cut it down the middle.  It's heartbreaking.

Nonna Silvia's is not a dating service, but they found me a perfect match.  Light and tasty just how I like 'em.  Provocative pizzas aside, they do some awesome things with the rest of their menu too.  The last couple times I was there I had house-smoked tuna carpaccio with shaved fennel in a pomegranate vinaigrette and a New Zealand rack of lamb over a bed of polenta served with rapini.  Mmmmm, can't wait to go back.

So turn the lights down low, no, turn the lights back on, call my friends at Nonna Silvia's, order a heart-shaped pizza, turn the lights back off, and enjoy it with your valentine... even if your valentine is the pizza!

Happy Valentine's Day!
-Alberto

PS - You think we'll ever see a candy heart that says "Pizza Me"?  I'll work on it.

Hi Alberto, the love heart shaped pizza will be popular this Valentine weekend globally. We've made some of the same as well on several accessions, look; the heart shape pizza is downwards on the left hand side on the page linked.

I hope your loved one enjoys the one you cooked.

Thank you for sending the email,
Rado
